I apologize again for not keeping up these past few weeks...I'm a professional procrastinator when I really want to be. Hahaha.
Anyway, this is the last installment of my Indonesia adventures from last month.
Arody, Bryan, and I flew to Bali for a few days after we were done in Manado/Tomohon/Tompaso, to have a little R&R. We stayed at an awesome hotel and pretty much vegged out on the beach and at the hotel. We also managed to squeeze in a few massages in our super busy schedule of doing absolutely nothing. Hahaha.

I also got my "western" food fix that should last me for a few months. Mmm...still dreaming about that one Italian place. I think that's the best Italian food I've had in a
long time
and that's not including my time out of the country either. Haha. The
best entertainment during dinner was when we got to see the fire dancers
twice!! And we had a table right next to them so it was even more
exciting. Hahaha.

On our last day in Bali we decided to hire a guy to give us a tour around Bali. My family had recommended him to us so we reserved Ketut and his van for the whole day. Our first stop was to this tourist beach area so I made Arody go diving with me...lol. I wanted him to experience it at least once in his life. We used some super sketchy
equipment, fed fish, and I enjoyed watching him flounder around. He used all his air up in 10-15 mins so we had to surface, but I went back down for another 20-25 mins with the DM b/c I still had ¾ tank left. After that we check out some more beachestook tons of pictures everywhere, soaked up the culture (Bali is so different than Manado!!), all while listening to Ketut spout out random facts the
whole time…couldn’t understand him half the time but it was informative nonetheless. Haha! We got to check out some surfer spots, and then headed to Uluwata
Temple we we had to wear skirts, be wary of the monkeys, and also where we got to experience the kecak dance, a very traditional Balinese dance. The story behind it is super long so go look it up if you're curious. =)

All in all, this trip wouldn't have been half as fun if these guys hadn't been there. Not only did they film and do their job 110%, but they were also my biggest supporters and a constant joy. We made tons of memories and I can't wait to see where our next adventures take us. Thanks guys!
